All Round Home Solution

The “All Round” home solution with a full suite of capabilities allows efficient heating and cooling with features such as: energy management using thermal storage (heat captured during daytime released at night), intelligent adaptation to user habits , smart pre-loading and energy storage based on grid pricing and weather forecasts.

Increase Efficiency with Thar's Multi Source Heat Pump

COP - Coefficient of Performance

Air Source Heat Pump

Our Heat Pump offers at least 50% higher COP compared to conventional Heat Pumps.

Besides being energy and cost efficient, the units are more compact.

Thermal Energy Storage

Add in Thermal Energy Storage (TES) to the heat pump to further increase COP by over 25%.

Using Thar’s TES system, the energy load can be transferred allowing the system to run when it’s advantageous. Typically this will reduce the overall energy cost.

Ground Source

Add in Ground Source to further increase COP by 30%.

By including at the time of building construction, the capital to add ground source heat pump is minimal, but yet provides a more efficient solution.

Hot Water

R744 means hot water! Our systems can provide typically around 60°C hot water on demand: perfect for households, hotels and health clinics.

Energy Efficiency through Storage

Energy efficiency improves by storing heat generated when electricity is cheaper and releasing it when it is needed. Residents enjoy hot water on demand while using less energy.

Versatile

Our heat pumps are versatile enough that it can be adapted to an existing residential cast iron radiator and yet add air conditioning capabilities.

You could put in a watt of electricity and get four watts of heat out of it. It’s like magic.

Decarbonization

Space and water heating are the primary contributors of building emissions. Using electricity as a power source, heat pumps can provide both heating and cooling functions without emissions from fossil fuels.

Space Saving

Our models are more compact than Freon based heat pumps. The compact design releases valuable storage space in each home and can help building developers meet mandatory space standards.

Minimal Installation

Some of our models will be targeting retrofits, with minimal installation costs: plug and play replacements for existing natural gas powered heating systems. Lack of Freon means regular plumbers can install the systems, again reducing installation costs.

IOT Connectivity & Cloud Capabilities

This means we could further improve overall efficiency through management of a cloud of homes & businesses.
